Dr. Henry Kissinger, former US Secretary of State, happily accepted in his New York office, the USCN’s highest honor — the Outstanding Contribution Award in Diplomacy in recognition for his achievements over decades in his diplomatic service in career. Dr Kissinger has significantly contributed to the healthy development of US China friendship since 1971. In the past forty years or so, Dr. Kissinger has maintained healthy and close personal relationships with four generations of Chinese leaders such as Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao.
